The Time Is NOW!

Signs of Fall The Time is NOW.

If you have had the pleasure of enjoying a Get Out More Event this year you have heard Randy and Sheri Propster tell you, “The Time is NOW”.

We would like  to remind you why The Time is Now, and why now is a better time than ever to listen when we tell you, “The Time is NOW”!

Normally we would simply remind you of all of the benefits that will enhance your life if you choose to spend more of your time outdoors. You know, all of the things that we all love about living an outdoor lifestyle.

Simply put, the reasons we go backpacking:

Get Healthy: You will find the calm necessary to actually think about your hectic life, and you will get your heart rate up for more than just a few rushed minutes each day allowing you to burn calories without having to step on a boring treadmill.

Get Connected: You will be amazed how connected you will feel to everything and everyone around you if you put yourself in a position to disconnect yourself from the phones and E-Mails that occupy you most days of the week. Turn it all off and tune in to the “real world” around you in all of its beautiful natural forms.

Randy and Sheri enjoy the sunset on Yellowstone Lake Want to find out just how well you can get along with someone?
Spend a disconnected weekend getting connected over a campfire or amazing vista. You can learn a lot about yourself and your partners in life based on the type of person a backpacking trip brings out of them.

Get Affordable:  You should keep your hard earned money. Backpacking and camping trips are very inexpensive. The reality is that you can’t spend money if there is nowhere to spend money so get away from it all.

Want to save money?
Turn off the water and power in your household for the duration of your next trip into the backcountry and your lower monthly utility bill will easily offset any park or campground fees.

We could go on and on. There are a countless number of reasons we love to backpack.

The point of this message is to be sure you are all aware of why we are going out of our way to make sure you are reminded that The Time is NOW.

Let’s start with a couple of questions:

Have you ever spent a night outside when the air was just cool enough to have one leg in and just warm enough to have one leg out of your sleeping bag?

Have you ever taken a walk through the woods in the Fall?

What do those questions have to do with the fact that The Time is NOW?

Those perfect nights in the first question, those cool and clear nights under the stars. Those are NOW! As for the Fall. The Fall is a wonderful time to get outside and enjoy the not too hot days and the not too cool nights. The Fall is a fantastic time to witness the changing of the seasons. The Fall is when you can expect fewer bugs and less crowded camps. Oh, by the way, The Fall is NOW!

The Superior Hiking Trail (6) Are you starting to get the picture? It’s NOW!

The Time is NOW!

Plan a trip, a backpack, a hike, a camp out. Get outside and breathe in the Autumn air, stare at the colorful backdrop, exercise your bodies and relax your minds.

Do it! Don’t delay, winter will come faster than you think and every single day the season is changing.

The Time is NOW!
